The One who made creatures that cannot be controlled is Himself beyond our control and understanding.

Great is the Lord, He is holy and just;
By His power we trust in His love.
Great is the Lord, He is faithful and true;
By His mercy He proves He is love.

Creation is filled with signs that point to the Creator.

"I know your heart. I can discern your truest motives before you utter a word. Think about Me and about My words to you. Submit every thought to Me. I will help you capture every unholy thought and turn your heart toward Me again. When you feed your heart with My spiritual food, an abundance of treasure will emerge."

". . . having nothing . . . ." Never hold anything in reserve. Pour yourself out, giving the best that you have, and always be poor. Never be diplomatic and careful with the treasure God gives you. ". . . and yet possessing all things"— this is poverty triumphant ( 2 Corinthians 6:10  ).
