So, I'll save you from all of the sordid details...but here's a Thumper recap:
I wanted to send/take her flowers. You know, because that's how girls who date girls roll...and so I asked for her theater schedule this weekend--her theater is about 10 minutes from my 2nd job. I was going to just take some flowers by, drop them off, and be on my merry way.
Me: What's your theater schedule Saturday and Sunday?
Her: Why?!
Me: I have a trick up my sleeve. It won't interrupt your schedule, I promise. ;)
Her: Don't.
Her: Whatever it is, don't. It'll make my life hell.
Her: I work with my ex this weekend and I can't handle that drama.
So I told her I'd back off--I get the picture. She said that I'm mistaking the situation.
No--I may not be an expert lesbian--but I do know that if you're living with your ex, you're working with your ex, and you don't want to start something new with someone new in fear of upsetting your ex, then she is, indeed, NOT your ex.
How do I ALWAYS do this to myself?
I'm sleepy, so I'll postpone more for later--but just know I had an utterly fantastic time at church today. This marks 3 weeks in a row and I plan on making it a lasting habit. Double bonus: having a gay day means I have a built-in interior decorator. He's going to come to my place and make it presentable for my St. Louis Houseguests that are coming in 2 weeks! Wee!
